Take a Break & Make! Facilitated drop in Makerspace.

Meet a wave that is sweeping educational environments in North America and beyond! You were briefly introduced to “Making” during your orientation to library literacies (or as I like to call it, Orientation to Library and Information Literacies for the 21st Century!) and may have had your interest piqued. If so, drop in and explore further, share ideas, ask questions. Hand out will be provided.

Drop in to Scarfe 155 anytime between 12 and 1:30pm in the Education Library to dig deeper into Makerspace and how ADST might be incorporated into your teaching context.

Session facilitated by Janis Sawatzky, Technology Integration Mentor and Langley teacher. Bring your lunch, drop in for a short visit or stay for awhile!

NB: the pop up mini-makerspace is open for you to drop in on your own during the month of September.
