Come down and make instructional videos, flipped classroom videos, or learn how to have your students create videos!
We know that visuals engage our learners so why not learn some basic or advanced techniques for creating videos? Come learn splicing audio from video, where to find royalty-free music & images for videos, and more! We will be using Camtasia (free for all UBC students) and iMovie.
Some project ideas students can make using video editing tools are:
– Book trailers (student example of HATCHET)
– Newscasts (example HERE)
– Recorded tableaus
– Raps/Songs/Skits
– Stop motion videos (see this awesome science example)
